WHAT IS CANYONING?

Canyoning is an adventure sport that consists of overcoming the geographical features of a river or ravine such as waterfalls, pools, chamois or rocky chaos, using techniques that mix disciplines such as potholing or climbing. The practice of canyoning includes rappelling, dexterity, swimming, jumping, etc.

WHAT IS SPELUNKING?

Speleology is more than an adventure sport, it is a science whose object is the exploration and study of underground cavities, their morphology, their topography, etc. It is a very complete activity both from the physical and scientific point of view.

WHAT IS CLIMBING?

Climbing is an adventure sport that consists in going uphill on steep walls using your physical and mental strength.

WHAT IS SPORT CLIMBING?

Sport climbing is a style of climbing that uses anchors fixed to the wall previously placed strategically on the route that serve to secure the climbers.

WHAT IS A VIA FERRATA?

A via ferrata is a vertical as well as horizontal (flanking) route equipped with various materials: nails, staples, dams, handrails, chains, suspension bridges and zip lines, which allow safe access to areas of difficult access. The safety is provided by a steel cable installed along the entire track and the harness equipped with an energy dissipater and special via ferrata carabiners (marked with a k) that secure it in the event of a fall.

No knowledge of climbing is necessary, although it is important not to be too afraid of heights.

WHAT IS KAYAKING?

Kayaking is an activity that combines physical effort with a contemplative spirit, exploration and contact with nature. It is a navigation without engine or sail, where the propulsion is exercised through two-leaf oars that are not supported on the boat and where the rower is arranged in the boat sitting and looking ahead.

WHAT MATERIAL DO I NEED TO CARRY OUT THE ACTIVITIES?

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO MAKE A RESERVATION?

Once we have confirmed if there are places on the dates you indicate, we will give you our account number so that you can make a deposit of 25% of the value of the activity and thus confirm the reservation.

CAN I DO THE ACTIVITIES WITHOUT BEING TOO FIT? ARE THE ACTIVITIES TOO DIFFICULT?

The activities have been designed so that everyone can do them, as long as the minimum age is met. However, if you have any doubts or reasons why you think you cannot carry out any activity, you should let us know and we will advise you or look for an alternative based on your needs.

IS IT NECESSARY TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM IN ORDER TO KAYAK OR CANYONING?

Knowing how to swim is a prerequisite for these activities. If you don't know how to swim, you should let us know and we will advise you on what activities you can do.

I HAVE A LOT OF VERTIGO BUT I'D LIKE TO RAPPEL, WOULD THAT BE POSSIBLE?

For rappelling, we use specific material that complies with all safety guarantees. Moreover, under the supervision of our team of professionals, it is a very safe activity, but in the case of having a lot of vertigo we recommend you not to do it since the height can block some people. Although we also have activities that allow you to do low altitude rappelling that can help you overcome your fears.

I'M PRETTY CLAUSTROPHOBIC BUT I'D LIKE TO SPELUNKING, WOULD THAT BE POSSIBLE?

For caving there are many different caves and chasms, some with really narrow galleries and others with very large spaces where the sensation of claustrophobia is rather mild. Although if you have extreme claustrophobia you should let us know and we will advise you or look for an alternative based on your needs.
